Peninsula Tour – Summer Day Trip to Muir Woods

📅August 19th, 2014, 15:55

It’s already August, but there’s still time to plan one last trip with Peninsulatour before summer ends! Call up your relatives, friends, or colleagues and head over to Muir Woods National Monument to lose yourself amongst the towering coastal Redwoods.

Established in 1908, this national park has become a preservation site for coastal Redwoods in the Bay Area. These majestic trees age from 400 to 800 years old and can be as tall as 258 feet. Located within are many hiking trails, varying in length and difficulty and just a short distance away, is Muir Beach.

“This is the best tree-lovers monument that could possibly be found in all the forests of the world.”
